At approximately 9:50 p.m. on Friday, Camden police responded to a residence on the 1400 block of Collings Road. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He has been identified as Eric Beverly, 61, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he succumbed to his injury at approximately 10:15 p.m., the prosecutor said.
No other details about the man's shooting death were released.
